    sure does

As long as its the right size some cameras have a limit on how big the sd card can go

Your problem isn’t just the small physical size of the card. I don’t know if the small size is a problem or not, but even if your card were a full-size SD card it still wouldn’t work.

You see, your camera supports SD. SD cards can only be up to 2 GB in size- if they are larger, they are SDHC card, or SD High Capacity. These cards are the SAME SIZE, but different inside.

The same was done to MicroSD- normal MicroSD only goes up to 4 GB, but MicroSDHC goes up to 32 GB.

What I recommend you do is use your SDHC card in a phone or something that does support SDHC. If you don’t want to, return it, or sell it on eBay or Craigslist. Or send it to me- I could sure use it!

Then buy a 2 GB SD Card instead. Make SURE it doesn’t say SDHC. Just SD. MicroSD cards aren’t universally compatible with SD devices.

The five year old S2 only uses SD cards.

That means that it can only use cards up to 2 gb.

16 gb (SDHC and microSD cards 4 gb and larger will not work in your camera) is out of the realm of your fine old camera
